Privacy Policy
How Promtix Shop processes and protects information supplied by users of the website and service.
General provisions
This Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) governs the processing and protection of information supplied by a User while using the Promtix Shop website and service (the “Service”), available at promtix.shop.
By using the Service, creating an account, placing an order, or contacting support, the User agrees to this Policy. A User who does not agree must stop using the Service. The User Agreement forms part of the rules governing the Service.
For this Policy, the Administration is the owner and operator of Promtix Shop. The Administration can be contacted through the support channel listed in section 10.
Information we process
The Service may collect and process only information needed to operate the store, fulfil orders, protect the Service, and handle User requests, including:
- account identifiers such as username, ID, nickname, email address, or other data supplied during registration or checkout;
- Service interaction history, order details, payment status, and digital-delivery status;
- technical data such as IP address, device and browser type, request date and time, cookies, and information needed for security and reliable operation;
- support messages and materials voluntarily supplied for a claim, including a screen recording of an attempted sign-in to the purchased account or service.
Promtix Shop does not request passport details, document images, complete payment credentials, passwords, two-factor authentication codes, or recovery codes unless applicable law expressly requires them. Users must not include such information in support requests or screen recordings.
How information is used
Information is used only to:
- provide Service functionality, registration, authentication, checkout, payment, and order fulfilment;
- communicate with Users, send service notices, and provide support;
- verify reports that a purchased digital item does not work and review refund requests;
- prevent fraud, security incidents, and abuse;
- analyse and improve the Service and comply with mandatory legal requirements.
Disclosure to third parties
The Administration does not sell or disclose information to third parties except when disclosure:
- is required by applicable law or a binding request from a competent authority;
- is necessary to perform obligations to the User, including work with payment providers, infrastructure providers, and digital-delivery services;
- is necessary to protect the rights, safety, and legitimate interests of Promtix Shop or other persons;
- is made with the User’s separate consent.
Only the minimum information necessary for the relevant purpose is disclosed.
Storage and security
Information is retained for as long as necessary for the processing purpose, order fulfilment, dispute resolution, security, and mandatory legal requirements.
Screen recordings and other claim or refund materials are retained until the review and request are resolved, then deleted or de-identified unless further retention is required by law or to protect the parties’ rights.
The Administration uses reasonable organisational and technical security measures but cannot guarantee absolute security for information transmitted over the internet.
User rights and responsibilities
A User may request access, correction, or deletion of their information when continued processing is not required to perform obligations or comply with law. Requests should be sent to Promtix Shop support (opens in a new tab).
Users must provide accurate information, avoid sending another person’s personal information without a lawful basis, and take reasonable steps to protect their account credentials.
Evidence used to review refunds
If a User reports that a purchased digital item or supplied access did not work after purchase, the Administration may request one continuous screen recording showing the recording date and time, navigation to the relevant official website or application, an attempted sign-in using the supplied access details, and the actual result or error message.
The recording must be made after purchase, be legible, and contain no editing that conceals the sequence of actions. Passwords, confirmation codes, recovery codes, and complete payment details must be hidden.
The review process, including the 3-to-10-calendar-day refund period after approval, is set out in section 7 of the User Agreement.
Disclaimer
The User understands and accepts that transmitting information over the internet always involves risk.
The Administration is not responsible for loss, theft, or disclosure caused by third parties, a User’s failure to follow security measures, or circumstances outside the Administration’s reasonable control.
Changes to this Policy
The Administration may amend this Policy. A new version takes effect when published on this page unless it states a different effective date.
Continued use of the Service after an amendment takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
